I'm excited about pretty graphs, maps, and using data for informative storytelling. My projects include predicting sound-color pairings for an individual with synesthesia and increasing the accuracy of multisensory humor detection. In my free time I also like to spend time outside and make maps of my activities.
I'm currently working as a Data Scientist at Microsoft, developing systems for Speech Recognition, Natural Language Understanding, and Voice Biometrics. I was previously at Composable Analytics, designing tools for intelligent data analytics in operational settings. I also spent time at the Computational Cognitive Development Lab researching methods to interpret high dimensional data and the development of categorization.
